1. Acceptance of Terms
Krow is a product of YouMatter Technologies Inc. ("YouMatter," "we," "our," or "us"), which builds and operates it. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and YouMatter Technologies Inc. By accessing or using Krow, including our Discord bot and website at krow.rip ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Services.
YouMatter Technologies Inc. also makes YouMatter, a separate wellness platform with its own terms. Krow is not a wellness or mental-health service.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Services
Krow provides:
- Discord Bot: Music playback, moderation and protection tools, server management, Jarvis (an AI assistant that proposes changes and makes them once you approve), Spotify/Last.fm integration, custom commands, and utility features.
- Web Dashboard: Server and personal settings management, bot configuration, profile management, and third-party service integrations.
- API Services: Backend services powering bot functionality and website features.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- Passwords must meet minimum security requirements (8+ characters, mixed case, numbers, and special characters).
- You must not share your account or credentials with others.
- You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. User Obligations
When using our Services, you agree NOT to:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or Discord's Terms of Service.
- Use the bot for harassment, spam, raiding, or any malicious activities.
- Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the bot's functionality.
- Use automated tools or scripts to interact with our Services without authorization.
- Impersonate other users, staff, or representatives.
- Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data without authorization.
- Use the Services for any illegal purpose.
5. Third-Party Integrations
Our Services integrate with third-party platforms including:
- Discord: Subject to Discord's Terms of Service.
- Spotify: Subject to Spotify's Terms.
- Last.fm: Subject to Last.fm's Terms.
- AI providers: Depending on the feature, AI features process content through Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google (Gemini) or Together AI, and image generation through Stability AI or the Stable Horde network, each subject to its own terms (for Google, Google's Terms).
- Stripe (Payments): Payments are processed by Stripe.
- Apify (Public social data): Social Pro uses Apify actors to retrieve public Instagram and TikTok posts and metrics.
- Sentry (Reliability monitoring): Operational errors may be processed by Sentry with personally identifiable information collection disabled by default.
By connecting these services, you agree to their respective terms and authorize us to access the data necessary to provide the requested features.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, code, designs, and branding associated with Krow are the intellectual property of YouMatter Technologies Inc. or its licensors. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute our code or content without permission.
- Use our branding, logos, or name in a way that implies endorsement.
- Create derivative works based on our Services without authorization.
7. Payments & Refunds
Krow sells a one-time server license and monthly subscriptions. The price, what it includes and how often it renews are shown before you pay.
- Krow Lifetime is a one-time license for one Discord server, with no renewal.
- Jarvis plans (Lite, Jarvis, Pro and Max) are monthly subscriptions for one Discord server. Each includes a number of Jarvis turns a month, shown on the pricing page. Turns reset on the 1st of each month (UTC) and unused turns do not carry over. A turn is one request Jarvis answers or plans for; approving a plan Jarvis has already shown you does not use another turn, and a turn Jarvis could not answer because its AI provider failed is handed back.
- Personal plans (Jarvis Personal and AI Personal) are monthly subscriptions for one person, not one server. Jarvis Personal works in servers where you hold Administrator or Manage Server, unless that server has turned outside seats off. In a server with its own Jarvis plan, the server's turns are used first and your seat only when the server has none left.
- Social Pro is a monthly subscription for one Discord server.
- Jarvis runs on the AI model named on the pricing page. If that model is unavailable, Jarvis may answer with another model so your server keeps working. To prevent abuse, Krow also limits how many turns one member can use in an hour and in a day, and server owners can block members from using Jarvis.
- Subscriptions renew until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal (sign in with the email you paid with) or by emailing support@krow.rip. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again.
- If a renewal payment fails, your plan keeps working for 7 days while the payment is retried. After that it pauses; your settings are kept.
- Prices are shown in US dollars; your bank may add currency conversion fees. Where Krow must collect sales tax or VAT, it is shown at checkout.
- Price changes apply to new purchases. An existing subscription keeps its price unless we give you at least 30 days' notice first.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Use of public social data is governed by our Public Social Data Disclosure.
8. Privacy
Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- Results obtained from the Services will be accurate or reliable.
- Any defects will be corrected in a timely manner.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YouMatter Technologies Inc. and the people who build and run Krow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of our Services.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Services ceases immediately.
- We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation; failing resolution, they shall be subject to the courts located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
